Where’s Pinehearst Gone?

An interesting story indeed.

Pinehearst was a really important part of my life – a specialist digital marketing agency relying on a network of trusted freelancers to imagine, create and deliver digital campaigns on a full service basis.

Time moves on, and as the business grew in size and responsibility, it started to become clear to me that the agency model was not something that really made the most of my talents. Whilst I love the thrill of having many projects in play at any one time, I also found that crucially I was starting my work with clients after they had decided which particular facet of marketing we could help them with.

Whilst that is a valid approach for a company with experience in the online space and an existing marketing strategy, it usually meant that important strategic decisions had either already been taken, or missed out entirely.

So whilst my agency went from strength to strength as a creative marketing service provider, I never felt like we ever quite crossed that boundary from being a supplier to a genuine strategic partner.

As a result of the support and belief of a few key clients with the bravery and commitment to change their marketing programs at the core, I have sunsetted the Pinehearst brand to concentrate on what I do best.

Being a personal presence at board level to grow selected businesses that I believe in.
